PEPCO FREEZE is a ready-to-use wall and floor cleaner for food lockers, kitchen floors, walk-in freezers and other sub-freezing areas. PEPCO FREEZE meets all of the known requirements for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants as a cleaning compound in product category A5. The A5 rating (as given in the final printing of the USDA’s “List of Proprietary Substances and Non Food Compounds”) is defined as: “Floor and wall cleaners for subfreezing temperatures. When used in areas in the kitchen floors or with sub-freezing temperatures, potable water rinsing is not required following use provided that the solution and solubilized soil are effectively removed by wiping or wet vacuuming .”
